Privacy notice.

How we handle information when you visit, get in touch or book with Nine One.

Updated 23 September 2026

01. Who is responsible

Media Mushroom Creative Ltd operates Nine One / Project 91 and is the controller for the information described here. Company number 17236823; registered office: 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ. Contact hello@project91.london for privacy questions and requests.

02. Information we use

We use names, email addresses, enquiries, account details, ticket selections, order references, payment status and communications with our team. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Hosting and security systems may record IP addresses, device/browser information and access logs. Stripe collects payment details directly; we do not receive or store your full card number or security code.

03. Why we use it

We use booking details to perform our contract with you: processing payment, issuing tickets, managing admission and communicating event changes. Account information supports the account you request. We rely on legitimate interests for responding to enquiries, preventing fraud and protecting the service, balanced against your rights. Legal obligations may require accounting and transaction records. Optional marketing relies on your consent; buying a ticket or creating an account does not automatically subscribe you.

04. Who receives information

We use IONOS for hosting, database and email services, and Stripe for payment processing and fraud prevention. Authorised team members and service providers access only information needed for their work. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to establish or defend legal claims. We do not sell your personal information. Fatsoma bookings are also subject to Fatsoma’s own privacy information.

05. International processing

Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where required, appropriate safeguards such as approved contractual protections or adequacy arrangements apply. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data. Stripe also explains its processing in its privacy policy.

06. How long we keep it

We retain information for the purpose for which it was collected and any necessary legal, accounting, security or dispute-resolution period. Booking and payment records may need to be retained after the event; closing an account does not necessarily remove records we must retain. Enquiries and inactive account information are reviewed for deletion when no longer needed. Verification links expire after 24 hours, password-reset links after one hour, and delivered queued-email bodies are removed from the application outbox. Mailbox copies and provider logs follow their separate retention arrangements.

07. Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time by contacting us; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Contact hello@project91.london. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner at ico.org.uk.

08. Partner referral links

If you book through a partner or university referral link, we record that link’s source with your booking to report attributed bookings, tickets and revenue internally. This does not change your ticket price or subscribe you to marketing. We do not give partners your customer details through this feature. The source is held only in the open booking page, with no referral cookies or browser storage, and retained with the booking record.

09. Cookies and external services

See our cookie policy. We currently use no advertising pixels or audience analytics on this site. Google Fonts serves the website typefaces and receives normal connection information when your browser requests them. A directions link opens Google Maps only if you choose to follow it. Payment technology loads when you choose to continue to payment.

10. Children and changes

Garba Night is 18+. We do not knowingly create booking accounts for children. Tell us if you believe a child has supplied information so we can investigate. We may update this notice as the service changes and will communicate material changes where appropriate.
